Our inn lies exactly on the Austrian-Italian border and in the decades following World War II it has become an important link between the north and the south of the Carnic region.
Here you can meet the locals from both sides of the border over a coffee or they just "come up" for dinner.

For many tourists to Italy the Plöcken Pass is still an insider tip away from the busy motorways and our guest house is ideal to recover a little bit from the journey.
The inn has been family owned for almost 75 years and we are known far beyond the region for our pasta specialties. We can spoil you from breakfast to dinner.
For mountain hikers and climbers we have two- and three-bed rooms, which is why our
inn is an ideal starting point for extended tours in the surrounding mountains.
Historically, this area around the Plöcken Pass has a lot to offer.
Visit the open air museum of World War I, which raged here on the mountains for two and a half years. Or the bunkers from the time of Mussolini and the Cold War, which are silent witnesses to the strategic importance of the region.
